Mr. Nishimura had undertook responsibilities as Vice President in the following financial institutions: Union De Baques Arabes et Francaises Group Bank, Credit Agricole Indosuez(France), Cantor Fitzgerald Securities, Fleet Boston Financial Corporation, United Oversea Bank (Singapore) and Bank of Singapore. TAN SRI DATO DR ABU BAKAR – MEDICAL ADVISOR

Tan Sri Dato Dr Abu Bakar Suleiman (MBBS 1968, HonMD 1997) is the Vice Chancellor and President of International Medical University in Kuala Lumpur and President of the National Medical Foundation. His other directorships include director of Medical Defence Malaysia Berhad and IMU Foundation and a chairman of IHH Healthcare Berhad and CCM Duopharma Biotect Berhad.
 
After graduating in 1968, Tan Sri Dato Dr Abu Bakar completed a Master of Medicine at the University of Singapore and completed his fellowship in the Royal Australasian College Physicians and postgraduate training in USA and Australia. He became the Ministry Deputy Director General of Health in 1989 before rising to the rank of the Director of Health from 1991 to 2001.
 

TAN SRI DATO DR YAHYA BIN AWANG – MEDICAL ADVISOR

 
Tan Sri Dato' Dr Yahya Bin Awang has been a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Damansara Heart Centre of Damansara Specialist Hospital in Malaysia since March 2004. He is also chairman of the National Transplant Registry and Board of Governors Chairman to International Medical University. 
 
Currently, Tan Sri Yahya sits on the Board of Multi-Purpose Insurans Bhd, Tokio Marine Life Insurance Malaysia Bhd, KPJ Healthcare Berhad, Damansara Specialist Hospital, Selangor Medical Centre Sdn. Bhd and several private limited companies in Malaysia.
 
Dr Yahya Bin Awang graduated from Monash in 1974 and was made a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow in 1984. He worked as Surgical Registrar in London before returning to Malaysia. In 1985 he was appointed Head and Senior Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at General Hospital. From 1992 to 2002 he held the position of Head and Senior Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon and Medical Director from 1998 to 2002 at Malaysia's National Heart Institute.
 
His many professional achievements include performing open heart surgery on Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohammad in 1989; pioneering the establishment of The National Heart Institute of Malaysia in 1992; and performing the first heart transplant in Malaysia in 1998.
 

TAN SRI DATO ASMAT KAMALUDIN – BUSINESS ADVISOR

 
Tan Sri Dato Asmat Kamaludin had a distinguished career with the Ministry of InternationalTrade and Industry, Malaysia (MITI) spanning over 35 years.
 
Currently Tan Sri Dato Asmat is the group chairman of UMW Holding Berhad since January 2001. He is also the chairman of Panasonic Manufacturing Malaysia Berhad, UMW Oil & Gas Corporation Berhad, UMW Toyata Motor Sdn Bhd and Scomi Group Bhd. His other directorships include Air Asia X Berhad, Perodua Auto Corporation Sdn Bhd, The Royal Bank of Scotland Berhad and YTL Cement Berhad. 
 
After obtaining his economics degree from the University of Malaya and special program on the European Economic Community, he furthered his career experiences by working with international bodies such as the ASEAN, WTO and APEC.  He was also actively involved in national organizations such as Johor Corporation, Small and Medium Scale Industries Development Corporation and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation. He also serves on the board of the Japan Chamber of Trade and Industry in Malaysia Foundation.
